3F-Robotiq Gripper

Universal Robots are among user-friendly collaborative robots. In this case, we have mounted a 3F-Robotiq gripper on a UR5 robot. The gripper has multiple modes such as basic, pinch, wide, and scissors. This gripper comes in numerous factory-ordered communication protocols. The different modes of opperation is visible in UI provided by robotiq.

The operation of the UR5 and 3F-Finger robotic gripper on the robot teach pendant (polyscope software), requires installation of the gripper URCAP and operation in MODBUS TCP/IP. This mandates the installation of the gripper URCAP for programming the robot for a pick and place opeartion.
